Georgia Barrett
Senior Consultant, Vice President USA
Alongside her client work, Georgia is responsible for leading the expansion of Bowen Craggs’ US operations. Since joining Bowen Craggs in September 2021, Georgia has co-written research on what the next generation wants from online corporate communications, and has completed consultancy projects for a range of clients including Amazon, Spotify, and Sky. Before joining the company, Georgia worked in global strategic communications, where she advised companies including PayPal, Alibaba and Zoom.
David Bowen
Life President
David co-founded Bowen Craggs in 2002, six years after establishing the London-based publishing and consultancy business Net Profit. In 2004 David was named one of the 100 most influential Britons in the internet’s first decade. David was twice named UK national newspaper industrial journalist of the year during his seven years as industrial editor of The Independent on Sunday. He was also energy editor of The Independent and had a long-running twice-monthly column on websites for the Financial Times.
Livia Cadalbert
Head of Events, Community and Communications
Liv is responsible for planning and organising the Bowen Craggs events, both online and in-person. She also manages the online Club community on Guild, our private networking platform, and oversees external communications. Liv has previous experience in digital newsletter and content marketing, and as Senior Associate in Client Solutions for a B2B insight network in the financial services sector. She has an MA degree from the University of Basel.
Dan Drury
Non-executive Director
Dan advises the Bowen Craggs board on business strategy. From 2005 to 2023, he was Chief Commercial Officer at the company. Dan joined after 12 years as an internet entrepreneur. In 1993 he founded a software company that developed operational online risk management tools. Eight years later he founded a leading enterprise-class web analytics software company. Both companies had successful exits for Dan and his venture capital investors. At Bowen Craggs he expanded the company’s client base to include more than 50 Fortune Global 500 corporations and added a range of quantitative measurement services to Bowen Craggs’ portfolio.
Tom Golden
Director of Sales and Marketing
Tom is leading the Bowen Craggs Sales and Marketing team. His team focuses on client relationships as well as introducing Bowen Craggs to new organizations and markets. He has extensive knowledge and experience in managing the overall quality of digital web estates as well as successfully leading sales, delivery and implementation of a market leading SaaS digital quality management platform. Tom’s commercial mindset, and focus on the bigger picture, has allowed the business to expand its portfolio and consider new and practical ways of working.
Philip Hunt
Non-executive Director
Philip advises the Bowen Craggs board on commercial and financial strategy. He is an angel investor and board advisor to a range of small unquoted businesses in the digital communications, technology and property industries. Philip started his career as an accountant with Ernst and Young, before moving into corporate finance and corporate turnaround roles. Philip led the buy-out of Wheel, the largest digital communications agency in London in the early 2000s. Since selling Wheel to LBi, (and then Publicis), Philip has worked with many digital businesses including, among others, ROEYE; Preloaded; Line; Skyron; The UX Agency; and MTM London. He also chaired the digital transformation specialist, Seren Partners, which was sold to Ernst and Young and renamed EY Seren.
Karen Le Marquand
Director of Brand, Digital Platforms and Information Security
Alongside her work for clients, Karen is responsible for the Bowen Craggs brand and for the development of our digital products and estate. She joined after extensive experience working in digital media in Italy and the UK, including as an account director for agencies such as Deepend, Ogilvy and Syzygy and for clients from industries including automotive, charity and financial services, among many more. She has also worked on projects that include major web builds, e-ticketing and digital marketing campaigns.
Denise McGrath
Head of Finance & Administration
Denise is responsible for the day to day running of the office, managing all accounting activities, client invoicing and HR administration. She has more than 20 years of experience in cash management, reconciliations and customer service at global companies including HSBC, BNY Mellon and Worldpay.
Scott Payton
Chief Executive Officer
As well as working for clients, Scott is responsible for ensuring that Bowen Craggs’ strategy is implemented, and overall financial management. Before joining Bowen Craggs, he was launch editor of pan-European investor relations magazine Real IR and editor of a range of other business and technology magazines. He has been writing about online communications since 1998, and conducting research and consultancy work in the area since 2000. Scott’s business journalism has appeared in publications including the Financial Times, The Spectator and The Independent. His research reports have been published by The Economist Intelligence Unit, KPMG, PwC and Freshfields, among numerous other organizations.
Mali Perdeaux
Head of Knowledge Management
Mali is responsible for ensuring that our clients get the knowledge and insight they need from the Bowen Craggs Index. She joined Bowen Craggs & Co as its first analyst and researcher, and is now also our specialist in serving jobseekers and employees online. Before joining Bowen Craggs, Mali was internet manager for the online corporate presence of Arup, a major international engineering and technology services consultancy. She has also worked in IT recruitment, as a multi-media executive for a UK agency.
Natasha Petherick
Head of Client Relations
Natasha works with our clients to understand their goals and objectives, and highlights how their Bowen Craggs membership can support them in hitting them. Natasha has more than five years of experience supporting international clients on a range of software-as-a-service platforms. She has a track record of building and scaling customer success teams in growing businesses. Natasha’s laser focus on customer satisfaction ensures that our clients are in good hands.
Andrew Rigby
Director of Consultancy and Visitor Research
Andrew is responsible for ensuring clients get the best possible insight from Bowen Craggs, leading the development of our consultancy services and managing our client work. He previously worked for the company as an associate analyst and consultant. He has more than 15 years of digital communications experience, the last ten of which were in corporate communications on both sides of the client/agency fence. Andrew has worked with companies of all sizes in a variety of sectors, on all kinds of digital projects from corporate websites to social media to mobile strategy. He has also spent time in the digital sports world.
Caterina Sorenti
Senior Consultant
Caterina is responsible for delivering high quality work for our clients, leading our relationships with some of them. She has particular interest and expertise in accessibility, storytelling and social media. She co-manages our editorial output and edits our Substack.
Before joining Bowen Craggs, Caterina gained experience in advertising, marketing and journalism while interning for companies including Microsoft. During her time at Microsoft, she worked on a successful Microsoft Brand campaign with the Advertising Operations team, producing online content.
Jason Sumner
Director of Editorial
Alongside his client work, Jason is responsible for the editorial across Bowen Craggs publications. As a member of the management team, he is responsible for ensuring that editorial output supports the company strategy and client needs. Jason manages the Bowen Craggs Index Snapshot and ensures that the underlying methodology is up to date and responsive to new trends. Jason joined Bowen Craggs after eight years at the Economist Group leading editorial and research projects. He has more than 20 years of experience as a consultant, analyst and business journalist in the UK and US, covering corporate communications, corporate social responsibility and knowledge management.
Hermione Sun
Senior Visitor Research Consultant
Hermione is responsible for leading the delivery of our visitor research insights to some of our clients, as well as helping with the design, implementation and evolution of our survey. She also oversees our data processing and preparation.
With a BSc in Management and MSc Business Analytics, Hermione is passionate about extracting valuable insights from data to help with business strategy and decision making. Before joining Bowen Craggs, Hermione gained experience in quantitative research and consulting at Ipsos. She has lived and worked in Asia and Europe, and has experience communicating on digital channels with audiences with diverse cultural backgrounds.
